Unfortunately, it came with a crack. Hayneedle was very good about the return. They offered to replace it. I unpacked and assembled one end table but I did not like its appearance with my furniture so I requested a complete return. There was no problem about that. It is very hard to judge the appearance of a piece of furniture from its picture.
