    These side tables were just what I was looking for. I bought them for my 17 year old son's room to use as side tables. He has dark wood furniture from West Elm, and a large, multi-beige tone shag rug. I didn't want wood top tables because I was afraid he would set a can or bottle of liquid on them and ruin the surface. The tables fit the bill for us! He really likes them, and they go well with his masculine look.

    The tables are more sturdy and well designed than I expected for the price. Very easy to assemble. Nice quality wood, metal pieces to screw the legs into, assuring longevity, and a great fit. The tops are faux, and I don't think under scrutiny they would pull off marble, but they are what they are and they work great! They mimic Emperadero marble, and the color is true to the real product if you are familiar with it.

    Service and delivery comments:

    The delivery was handled very poorly. I had to call several times, only to find out that part of the order was back-ordered, and then it would take three months to fulfill (NONE of which was ever made clear during the ordering process).

    I finally had to speak to a supervisor who straightened things out, but I had to do all the work, and it was a LOT of extra effort!

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
