      After searching high and low for a rustic style TV console that would match my seaside decor I finally found the Townsend TV console and end tables. I did not realize the tables needed to be assembled. A bit concerned about that as other reviews prior show difficulty in assembling. I read the reviews prior - some refer to the piece being poorly constructed. So far I have no issues but I trust that since I only received this item 2 days ago the outstanding customer service I received from Hayneedle would help me resolve any issues. For the price - and believe me I really think I saw EVERYTHING - from high end to low-end this was perfect.

      I bought this end table as a decorative piece for a new leather couch ensemble that I recently bought. The height is perfect and my new lamp looks great on this table. One thing that I was disappointed with was the finsh of the tabletop. I was looking for a more rustic look and the tabletop turned out to be smoother than the website pictures portray. Overall, it is a nice table and adds a finished look to my new family room.

        The top of the table was not as it was described. Two very large, raised knotholes in the wood, in addition to a very deep scratch. Otherwise, table was fine; sturdy, good quality, easy to put together. Customer service handled the return and credit in just a few minutes. I will definately use this site again.
